Primary 5 and 6 went to the Navan Centre for a Poetry workshop with Maura Johnson. The theme was about 'Truth'. They had an opportunity to experience what life was like as a Celt and a 'Brenhon' (in charge of the law of their community). The children role played different scenerios and learned about the possible sentences that would have taken place. They also experienced how life was like in the 'Great War'. We all had a lovely day and were inspired for the poetry competition.
