Primary 4 had a brilliant time today on their school trip. They thoroughly enjoyed Apple Week’s educational programme.They found out that there are over 6000 varieties of apples. They were able to step back in time to a Victorian kitchen and make apple potato bread with the cook.They visited Mr Heaney, the footman who showed them how to press apples to make juice.Afterwards Paul discussed ‘the journey of the Apple’ from tree to the shop and finally they completed fantastic apple art.
