Poetry Workshop in Navan Fort

P5 and P6 spent a great morning at Navan Fort. Maura Johnston resident poet held an interesting workshop about poetry and both classes will enter their poems in the poetry competition (the theme for the competition is Messages)near the end of October. The children also learnt about morse code and breaking codes which were used during World War One. Finally they met a Celt from Ulster and examined his weapons and home.
