Party Politics at St. Marys
28th Nov 2016
Our P6 and P7 pupils enjoyed a recent visit from some local dignitaries who came to speak to the children about the work they do. They gave the children a valuable insight into how politics works and also answered some difficult questions! The children learned about the Assembly at Stormont and how elections take place, we even had our own hustings and mini election. I'm sure we have some budding politicians amongst us. Many thanks to Sharon, Justin and Cathal for coming along and sharing their experiences with the children.
