On Thursday 29th September our P6 and P7 classes set off for an adventurous day in Dublin. We took in a tour of Croke Park and its museum and enjoyed our lunch there before we headed to the Ambassador Theatre to see an exhibition about the Easter Rising. We also saw the Garden of Remembrance and walked down O'Connell Street to the GPO. The children got to experience so much and learned a lot about the events of The Rising and also the history of our national games. It was a fantastic trip and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
