Today our school’s Eco Team confidently delivered a thought-provoking assembly to highlight the importance of Energy Saving Week.
The Eco Team explained the issues associated with burning fossil fuels, the benefits of using renewable energy sources and also gave fantastic advice on how to save energy at home.
Additionally, all of our pupils have been challenged to complete one energy-saving challenge per day at home throughout Energy Saving Week. A record sheet will be sent home with pupils this week for completion. Please send the completed sheet back into school with your child at the beginning of next week.
If our school demonstrate the greatest energy savings then we will have the chance to win fantastic prizes, including a top prize of up to £1000 to be spent on a sustainability project to benefit our school!
