We were delighted to have Déarbháil Savage, and her mum, Karen, visit school on Wednesday 24th June 2015, to thank the children for their generosity raising money to support her trip to Los Angeles to take part in the Special Olympics.
The school was able to present a cheque to Déarbháil for £100, from the sale of her yellow wristbands in schools.
We wish Déarbháil every success in the Olympics in July and congratulate her on achieving her place on the team representing Ireland. It is a fabulous opportunity and experience, we hope you enjoy every minute of it.
