P5 are holding a book sale of second hand books on Wednesday March 1st. We are looking for all sorts of books from childrens up to adults. We would request that the books are in very good condition. All proceeds will be going to Sambodhi Home in Sri Lanka. This is a home for people with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, blindness, partially deaf or mute, intellectual and physical disabilities. There are 47 residents ranging in age from 11 to 78 years. Mrs.Kerr will be spending 3 weeks over the summer working with the residents and setting up a small library in the home. P5 are working really hard getting the books in order and are looking forward to selling lots of books on the day. The sale will be open to parents and all classes will get a chance to visit the sale and hopefully purchase some books.
